The Power of the Pineal Gland

Whether I’m giving a reading, mentoring a student, or just in casual conversation with someone, there’s one topic that comes up almost daily. It’s THE MOST frequently asked question I receive.

“How can I learn to connect with and expand my own intuition and psychic gifts?”

I talk to people every day who feel as if they’re trying everything to experience their own psychic abilities and become so disheartened when they feel their efforts are not yielding any results. Once someone becomes disillusioned, their BELIEF in their gifts become compromised pushing them even farther away from their ultimate goal.

I want you to know that I hear all of you when you share with me how often you’re meditating, you’re visualizing, practicing your remote viewing. You’re using all of the tools such as crystals, pendulums, angel cards, and many, many other methods..

I also want to tell you that I believe you. I hear your frustration.

And what if I told you that expanding your psychic abilities may have nothing to do with any of those practices or tools.

What if your psychic abilities are within you waiting to be discovered and/or rediscovered and all it takes is a few very simple lifestyle changes to make it happen.


The pineal gland, otherwise known as the third eye,  is a very small endocrine gland which lies behind and above the pituatary gland. This tiny pinecone shaped gland plays an essential role in how we sleep, perform, make decisions and perceive reality. This gland no bigger than a grain of rice, regulates serotonin derivative melatonin which affects our sleep/ wake patterns and seasonal functions. When our pineal gland is high functioning we receive benefits of clarity, concentration, bliss, insight, lucid dreaming, intuition, clairvoyance. Yes, the pineal is our superpower for our intuitive and psychic abilities!

In fact ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians and Sumerians would honor the almighty pineal (third eye) in carvings and in rituals believing this part of the brain to be the source of all knowing.

If we think about children. How they enter into the world with a heightened sense of awareness and a strong psychic connection. Children tend to have more experiences with spirit energy, earthbound energy, low level energy, and angel energy. Most young children naturally experience all worlds at the same time and in the same physicsl space. As children grow, for many reasons they begin to lose touch with the spiritual beings they vaguely remember from their past.

When our pineal gland is high functioning we receive benefits of clarity, concentration, bliss, insight, lucid dreaming, intuition, clairvoyance.

Decades later they typically won’t feel a connection to those other worlds at all. One reason that is commonly overlooked is the calcification of the pineal gland over time. The pineal is  our connection to the other side. Slowly over time the pineal calcifies and we slowly lose touch of our senses, and decades pass before we can even imagine that a tiny gland in our body holds the key to opening or closing that world we hold so dear to us. Who would even imagine.. We could meditate all day and practice our tools and skills for communicating with the other side, but we will not be able to open that door until our mighty pineal is restored to full function.

In our modern day world the pineal will become calcified due to chemicals in our environment. Everyone at some point and time will experience a calcification of this extremely essential gland.

Here are some powerful steps to take to restore our pineal gland to a healthy state and feel the results. It doesn’t take much. If you practice even just a few of these suggestions you will more than likely feel the benefits.


  • Fluoride builds up on the pineal gland over years and is the #1 culprit for calcification of the pineal.
  • Avoid processed foods
  • Avoid pesticides
  • Minimize high magnetic fields
  • Certain frequencies are emitted through magnetic fields that are foreign to our bodies and over time damages our nervous system.
  • Turn off all electronics before going to bed. Be sure you’re taking a break from electronics throughout your day as well.


  • Staring at the sun during sunrise and sunset helps to  reset the pineal gland. 15 minutes of sun gazing during the lowest intensity of the sun sends NATURAL electromagnetic energy through your eyes to the pineal which the pineal desperately needs in order to regulate our sleep/wake state and our seasonal state. Our pineal literally controls our bodies understanding of night and day. It sends messages to our bodies to slow down and turn off at sunset. To wake up, activate, focus, concentrate at sunrise. Could you imagine how we would function without the aid of the pineal?!
  • Sleep in complete darkness
  • Diffuse lavender oil or peppermint oil.
  • These are helpful if you have trouble sleeping or calming your nervous system.


  • Avocados
    Eat more nutritious foods!
  • Almonds
  • Bananas
  • Beans
  • Beets
  • Chickpeas
  • Dates
  • Hazelnuts
  • Prunes
  • Raisins
  • Walnuts
  • Raw apple cider vinegar
  • Cook with fresh tumeric
  • Any foods with iodine
  • Iodine chelates Mercury, lead, cadmium, aluminum and fluoride.
