My wedding was heading for disaster!
Literally, the city where my wedding venue was declared a state of emergency due to flash flooding. 5 days before I walk down the proverbial isle, shops are closing, trees and garbage are floating down the street. Campers are floating down river and its just pouring rain. I text my venue and thankfully they are on a hill but the roads getting to them, most have issues or are completelyclosed off. But the venue is fine…..whew!
This is on top of 8 days of chaos, I had 20 mosquito bites on my legs from the week before BBQand they are so bad I can’t even shave. My hair is fried from the hair dresser (falling out in clumps), our caterer cancelled, DJ couldn’t make it and I couldn’t find a certified bartender. Then my new mother-in-law is hauled away in ambulance at 2am. The next day my flower girls is in the hospital, and then 4 of my maid of honors fly in from California, 2 of them had flights cancelled so they ended up 3 hours away.
I had to drive to two different airports to pick them up (7 hours) and then one loses her luggage (WHERE IS THE DRESS?). The Officiant calls at the last minute before rehearsal dinner to say her father is in emergency surgery she has to go and it is suppose to storm all day of my wedding day.
At the 9th inning I found a DJ, Caterer, Bartender. All the hospitals emergencies are good now, my bridesmaids all carried on their dress (smart chicks), we found the missing luggage and the wedding was beautiful with SUNSHINE all day!
Why am I telling you all this?
Because sometimes when you are in business, it can be overwhelming and things happen that we think are a “sign”. A sign that maybe we’re not supposed to do it and we give up. It’s too hard, it’s a disaster so there is no reason to continue.
My wedding was successful for 2 reasons. The first is, I had a big WHY. If your WHY is BIG enough you can make anything happen. I was determined and was rewarded. The second reason is because I was able to write a check for the emergencies. My wealth saved me at one of the most important times in my life.
I’ve been in real estate for 17 years and this is not the first time it’s saved me. Real Estate is not easy, but it is simple and the safest investment you can make (if done correctly).
Real Estate can create cashflow for you that can take care of any disaster and give you the means to travel and enjoy your life.
Then you have control over your life and can follow your passion. That passion that is suffocating under years of trading time for money because someone told you to go to school and get a J.O.B.
When you build wealth in real estate with one or all of my 4 proven methods, you can be unstoppable with the confidence to handle what ever life throws your way.
Making it happen…
