How many diets have you been on?
How many years have you been a dieter?
How many times have you failed on your diet?
The reason is that the feeling of trying a new diet is more hopeful than the painful feeling of living in your overweight body.
However, going on another diet is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
That, Sweet Sister, Is the definition of insanity.
Diets do not get into the core issue of why you struggle with weight. They are intellectual ways of eating that help you lose weight but do not release your emotional conditioning/addiction to the feeling of struggling with your weight. In-turn you gain the weight back and feel WORSE than you did when you started!
There are reasons for your struggle that you MUST be aware of or the cycle will NEVER END!
This blog will give you the first reason and the next blogs until the New Year, I will give you more insights.
The first reason you struggle with your weight is you are…
Emotionally Addicted To The FEELING Of Struggling With Your Weight.
What does that mean?
- Think about your weight every day?
- Have a VERY negative perception of your body?
- Feel your body is against you?
- Feel uncomfortable having your picture taken?
- Get on the scale every day?
- Dislike looking in the mirror?
If that sounds like you, you are emotionally addicted/conditioned to the feeling of struggling with your weight and will FOREVER sabotage your weight loss efforts.
This means even though you don’t like being overweight, it is familiar to struggle with your weight. You know how to live in a body you don’t love and do it every day!
Where did this addiction come from?
It Came From Past Childhood Programming Disguised As The Belief That There Is Something Wrong With You.
Did you hear things like…
- You drive me crazy!
- You shouldn’t have done that!
- You can never do anything right!
- Don’t wear that you look fat!
- You’re just going to end up overweight, like me!
- And more!
The feeling that gets conditioned into every cell of your body is that there is something wrong with you and you will never be enough.
That emotional conditioning will manifest in your life in various ways and one of the most common ways is through struggling with your weight.
This is why going on a diet is like putting a band-aid on a shark bite. You may pause a small portion of the issue but you haven’t saved your life.
What Will Save You?
You must become your own hero and understand your emotional conditioning to your weight and instead of fixing the superficial part of the problem by going on another diet, get yourself out of Dieting Hell and shift everything you know about how to be you!
Yes, that is a tall order and what if that is the reason you’re here on the planet?
What if going through the transformational journey from struggling with your weight to living in a body you love is the EXACT reason your soul wanted to come to earth because as you heal you touch other souls and help them heal and that helps the planet heal?
Is that a tall order?
Yes, and have you ever been around someone who has had an emotional transformation and it touched you to change something about yourself?
Next week I’ll share the 2nd part of getting out of Dieting Hell and the first part is to understand that another diet is NOT the answer.
It Hasn’t Been For Years!
If it were, you wouldn’t be struggling with your weight or reading this blog.
Keep your eyes open for my email next week where I’ll tell you how to start your emotional transformation and live in a body you love!
You deserve that!
I’d love to learn about your weight loss journey so far.
